Article Processing Charges (APC)
ClinMed Nexus: Journal of Clinical and Medical Research (CMN-CMR) is an open-access journal committed to the wide dissemination of scholarly research. To support high-quality publishing and open access availability, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied upon acceptance of a manuscript.
1. APC Structure
The standard APC for manuscripts accepted for publication is $1500 - $3200 USD. This fee covers the full range of publishing services including:
- Editorial assessment and peer review management
- Professional copyediting and typesetting
- Metadata tagging and digital archiving
- Immediate open access publication under the CC BY 4.0 license
- Long-term article hosting and discoverability
2. When Charges Apply
APCs are only charged after a manuscript has been peer-reviewed, accepted, and approved for publication. There are no fees for submission or review.
3. Waivers and Discounts
CMN-CMR is committed to equity and inclusion in global research. Waivers or partial discounts may be granted to:
- Authors from low-income countries (as per World Bank classification)
- Early-career researchers with demonstrated need
- Manuscripts invited by the editorial board
Requests for waiver or discount must be made during the submission process and will not influence editorial decisions.
4. Payment and Invoicing
Upon acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an invoice with payment instructions. Payment must be made via bank transfer or secure online payment gateway. Publication will proceed once payment is confirmed.
5. APC Policy Transparency
As part of our commitment to transparency, all APC policies align with the recommendations of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) and COPE standards.
