Publication Ethics Statement

ClinMed Nexus: Clinical and Medical Research is dedicated to ensuring the integrity and quality of the research we publish. Our ethical framework aligns with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards and covers authorship, originality, data accuracy, plagiarism prevention, and conflict-of-interest management.

Key Ethical Principles

  • Integrity: Only original, high-quality, and properly referenced work is accepted.
  • Plagiarism: All submissions undergo plagiarism checks.
  • Data Accuracy: Authors are responsible for ensuring data validity and transparency.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts.
  • Corrections & Retractions: Errors and ethical issues are addressed with corrections, retractions, or editorial notes.

Peer Review Policy & Process

We employ a double-blind peer review model to ensure unbiased and objective evaluation of manuscripts. Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Authors: Ensure originality, ethical approvals, and proper authorship contributions.
  • Editors: Make impartial decisions, ensure confidentiality, and follow COPE guidelines.
  • Reviewers: Provide fair, constructive, and timely feedback, maintaining confidentiality.

Peer Review Workflow

  1. Initial editorial screening for scope and formatting.
  2. Assignment to at least two expert reviewers.
  3. Evaluation based on originality, rigor, and ethical standards.
  4. Editorial decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Appeals, Timelines & Confidentiality

Appeals can be submitted with detailed justification. The peer review process typically takes 2–4 weeks. All manuscripts and reviews are treated as strictly confidential.
