Editorial Policy
ClinMed Nexus: Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences
This policy describes the principles and procedures applicable to editorial policy at ClinMed Nexus: Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences.
1. Purpose and Scope
The journal evaluates scholarly submissions across its multidisciplinary scope according to relevance, originality, methodological soundness, clarity, and research integrity.
2. Editorial Independence
Editors make decisions on academic merit. Financial considerations, advertising, sponsorship, and article processing charges must not influence acceptance or rejection.
3. Initial Assessment
Submissions are checked for completeness, scope, authorship information, ethical declarations, and basic reporting quality. Manuscripts may be declined before external review where justified.
4. Peer Review
Suitable research manuscripts are evaluated by qualified independent reviewers. Editors select reviewers based on expertise and assess competing interests. The journal should publish its actual reviewer-anonymity model separately.
5. Decision Making
The responsible editor considers reviewer assessments, author responses, scientific merit, and ethical concerns. Reviewer recommendations are advisory; editorial responsibility remains with the editor.
6. Editor and Reviewer Conflicts
Editors and reviewers must disclose interests that could impair impartiality. Conflicted editors should transfer the manuscript to an independent editor.
7. Fairness and Confidentiality
Decisions must not discriminate based on personal characteristics or institutional prestige. Unpublished manuscripts and reviewer communications must be treated confidentially.
8. Appeals and Record Keeping
Authors may request reconsideration on specified procedural or substantive grounds. Editorial decisions, review reports, and communications should be documented securely.
