ClinMed Nexus: Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences
Supporting responsible research, transparent editorial practices, academic integrity, and ethical scholarly publishing.
Our Commitment to Publishing Integrity
ClinMed Nexus: Journal of Multidisciplinary Sciences is committed to promoting responsible scholarly communication across medical, biological, physical, engineering, environmental, social, and interdisciplinary sciences.
The following policies establish expectations for authors, reviewers, editors, and other contributors involved in the publication process. They address editorial independence, research ethics, originality, transparency, accountability, and the responsible dissemination of scientific knowledge.
01. Editorial Policy
The editorial policy defines the principles guiding manuscript assessment, peer-review coordination, editorial independence, confidentiality, and publication decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
02. Publication Ethics
The publication ethics policy outlines responsibilities relating to authorship, ethical approval, informed consent, confidentiality, research reporting, peer review, and responsible editorial conduct. The journal encourages transparent procedures for addressing suspected misconduct.
03. Plagiarism & Originality
Authors must submit original scholarly work and properly acknowledge the contributions of others. Plagiarism, inappropriate text reuse, duplicate publication, and misleading attribution are inconsistent with responsible publishing. Concerns about originality may require clarification, revision, or further editorial investigation.
04. Research Integrity
Research integrity requires honesty in study design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. The journal expects authors to avoid fabrication, falsification, image manipulation, misleading reporting, and other practices that undermine scientific reliability. Ethical approvals and participant protections must be documented where applicable.
05. Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose financial, professional, personal, institutional, or other interests that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, research interpretation or editorial judgment. Appropriate disclosures help protect transparency, independence, and confidence in published findings.
06. Data Availability
The journal encourages transparent reporting of research data and the availability of supporting materials when ethically, legally, and practically appropriate. Authors should describe how underlying data may be accessed and identify restrictions arising from privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other legitimate considerations.
07. AI Use & Disclosure
Authors should transparently disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence tools where their use materially contributed to manuscript preparation, analysis, or presentation. Human authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and reliability of submitted work. AI systems must not be listed as authors. Confidential manuscripts should not be uploaded to external AI services without appropriate authorization.
08. Corrections & Retractions
The journal recognizes the importance of maintaining an accurate and reliable scholarly record. Where significant errors, ethical concerns, or unreliable findings are identified after publication, appropriate actions may include corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions following a fair editorial assessment. Published notices should clearly explain the reason for the action and remain linked to the relevant article.
09. Complaints & Appeals
Authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders may raise concerns regarding editorial procedures, publication decisions, ethical matters, or published content. Complaints and appeals should be reviewed impartially, with appropriate confidentiality, documentation, and opportunities for clarification. An appeal does not automatically guarantee a change in editorial decision.
10. Privacy Policy
The privacy policy describes how personal information submitted through the journal website may be collected, processed, stored, and used for legitimate scholarly publishing activities. These activities may include manuscript handling, peer-review communication, editorial administration, publication services, and account management. Personal information should be handled securely and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Our Commitment to Transparency
ClinMed Nexus aims to maintain clear and accessible publication policies that support responsible research, editorial independence, and the integrity of the scholarly record.
Authors, reviewers, editors, and readers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these policies and contact the editorial office when clarification is required.
